Assign Your People to Daily Shifts and Locations for a Month
|
Why do I need this spreadsheet scheduler
|
This scheduler is great if you need to assign several
different categories of employees (like managers, cooks,
bartenders and waiters) to several daily shifts and
locations (like Waiter Station A, Station B, etc) using
a "hands on" approach that allows you to consider
employee availability and shift preferences. It is also
allows you to confidently schedule employees under 15
years of age subject to state and federal youth work
rules.
|
It's so easy to use
|
Simply input your employee names and availability, define your shifts
and then assign people to your shifts each day for a
month. The program will alert you if your schedule
violates any youth work rules or if you schedule someone
to more than one shift per day.
|
It shows you exactly what you need to know to manage your
business
|
Schedules are produced showing daily assignments for
each location and employee category for each day of the
month so you and your managers will know who is assigned
to each location, category and shift each day. Employee
hours and wages are used to create budget reports for
each category on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to
help you control your payroll costs. And, a calendar file
is created that you can import into your Microsoft
Outlook Calendar and to your PDA or Smart Phone so you
will have everybody's schedule readily available.
|
It tells your employees all they need to know about their
schedules
|
Individual employee schedules for the month can be
printed and distributed or automatically (at the push of
a button) sent by e-mail to employees who wish to
receive their schedules electronically. You can also (at
the push of a button) create a calendar file showing the shifts for a single employee that
can be imported into their Microsoft Outlook
Calendar and to their PDA or Smart Phone so they will
have their monthly schedule readily available.
|
It will save you time and money every week
|
Using this scheduler instead of your typical paper
and pencil method or outdated scheduling program or a
spreadsheet that somebody put together a few years ago
saves you a great deal of time and since it is so easy
to create your schedules and manage your payroll budget you will
save money every week and before you know it the small
price you paid for the spreadsheet will be repaid many
times over. And, you can stop worrying about violating youth work rules.
