The batch schedulers
are available to track job progress in either hours or in days. The hours
tracker shows jobs scheduled by hours for 31 days and the days tracker
shows jobs scheduled each day for up to 6 months.
Each scheduler can
track as many as 20 jobs for each of 10 people or processes. As the jobs
are completed, they are removed from the list, making room for additional
jobs.
The order in which the
jobs are to be performed can be easily changed to reflect new priorities.
Both the hours tracker
and the days tracker spreadsheets allow you to specify up to 20 holidays
and to specify which days of the week you work. The hours tracker also
allows you to specify the hours that you work each day.
You simply list your
jobs and their duration and specify the start time for the first job. The
scheduled start and stop times for all future jobs are automatically
calculated and updated each day.
Jobs assigned to each
person or process are charted to give you a graphical representation of
the progress of each job.
This type of scheduler
is often used in businesses that operate numerous batch processes (such as
heat-treating ovens) with jobs for numerous customers scheduled for each
process. With our scheduler you can easily find any of the hundreds of
jobs and to easily reschedule any of them in response to new priorities.
