You start by simply listing your students, teachers, subjects, class times, classrooms and student groups (Senior, Freshmen, etc. or "bright", not-so-bright", etc. or whatever groups you want to use). Then after you define Room/Subject/Teacher combinations you assign those combination to your students each day and class time for up to 8 class periods a day.

As you make assignments on the daily scheduling sheets you will be shown a count of the number of classes assigned to each student and the number of students assigned to each Room/Subject/Teacher so you can easily  manage those parameters. And a "Master Schedule" is created showing all class assignments to all students and teachers that can be filtered to display whatever you are interested in seeing.

It tells your employees all they need to know about their schedules

Individual schedules are created for each student and teacher that can be printed and distributed or automatically sent by e-mail to the student or teacher with a copy to whoever you designate in the school administration. And a daily class roster for each Room/Subject/Teacher is produced showing students assigned each class period.
