Simply enter your people's names and
shifts/tasks and locations and push the button to randomly assign your people to
daily shifts or tasks at various locations for up to a month. The assignments will be
evenly distributed among all of your people so everyone will get the
same number of weekend, weekday and holiday assignments and the
location
assignments will be fairly distributed. You can specify your people's qualifications and preferences to
assure that everyone is considered for only those shifts, tasks and
locations they prefer or are qualified to perform.
The scheduler doesn't care if you need only one person a week or
fifty people a day for those special assignments. It also doesn't matter
if you need everyone to be assigned to a shift or task once a month,
once a week, once a day, or whatever. The scheduler works around individual availability by allowing
you to specify up to 10 vacations and other planned absences for
each person. You can also assign other days off and reasons for a
person not taking a shift on a particular day.
You can schedule just one day or a whole month, or anything in
between. And, if you schedule several months or years, the program
remembers past assignments and uses the entire scheduling history
when selecting someone for the next daily assignment assuring
long-term continuity in your scheduling. This ultra-fair approach to scheduling allows both random
selection and the even distribution of assignments among all of your
people.
Before you push the button to automatically create your
schedules, you can manually assign anyone to any shift if you need a
particular person to take a particular shift and after the automatic scheduler has assigned someone to all of
your shifts, you can modify the schedule as necessary by manually
changing the assignments to fit your needs. This approach allows you to do
team scheduling and to control agent combinations when two or more
people work together.
